In this project, you will create an organization tied to the activity that you visually expressed in project #1. This organization can be institutional, educational, entrepreneurial and/or non-profit.
The organization’s purpose will be to provide a service and/or a product centered around the activity.
Examples might be a sport’s team, a yoga gym, a bike manufacturer, an bakery, a cooking school, etc.
Using the research and design of your visual writing system for your activity, create a name and identity for the organization.
To initiate the project, begin with a fine-tuned project brief. Next, using your activity research, create three to five word “positioning statement” for the organization to use as foundation to come up with a title for your organization, as well as to build your identity upon.
Please post documentation of the evolution of the identity, including concept thumbnails, design roughs and your final design, on your blog.
A final and/or very tight logo will be due on your blog the beginning of class, Tuesday, October 1st.
